UI Orders Closure Of School, fixes date for virtual classes

MINISTERIAL DIRECTIVE ON THE CLOSURE OF ALL UNIVERSITIES AND INTER-UNIVERSITY CENTRES DURING THE UPCOMING 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

Pursuant to the Ministerial directive on the closure of all Universities and Inter- University Centres in respect to the forthcoming 2023 general elections, the University Management has resolved that academic activities should be suspended temporarily from Wednesday, February 22 to Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

However, online lectures would start on Monday, 27 February 2023 while physical lectures will resume on Wednesday, 15 March 2023.

All Members of staff are expected to render their normal services during this period.

Management wishes all staff and students a peaceful and successful 2023 National election.
