According to the breakdown of fees for the 2023 examinations, the UTME/DE application fee will be N3,500. The board also noted that N500 would be paid for the reading text; the sum to be charged by CBT centres would be N1,700 for those who do not opt for the mock UTME, while the CBT service charge for those who opted for the mock would be N2,700.

In addition, a total of N700 would be paid as a registration centre service charge and N1,000 as an examination centre service charge.

In all, the board noted that the grand total without mock would be N5,700; with mock, N6,700 and N4,700 for direct entry applicants.

JAMB’s head of public affairs and protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said in a statement that the management of the board made the approvals at a meeting held in December.

Benjamin said the 2023 UTME registration begins Saturday, January 14, 2023, and ends Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

He said the computer-based UTME test would be conducted between Saturday, April 29, 2023, and Monday, May 12, 2023.

The agency also fixed Thursday, March 16, 2023, for the conduct of its optional mock UTME.
