We Are Not Aware Of Any Meeting With Federal Govt” – ASUU President

The national president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Prof Emmanuel Osedeke says the union is yet to receive an invitation for a rumoured meeting with federal government delegates.

Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige had on Monday told newsmen that the Federal Government would be meeting with the leadership of ASUU at 5pm. He then confirmed an adjournment till the following day (today).

Denying the reports, Prof. Osedeke has faulted the information, revealing that he is yet to receive any official invitation for the ‘supposed’ meeting.
