UNIOSUN Management debunks strike rumour, resumes rain semester

The Management of Osun State University has debunked the strike rumour.

The University Public Relations Officer, Mr Ademola Adesoji while speaking with Olofofo Uniosun made it known that the school has resumed the rain semester academic session and lectures will commence very soon.

He revealed that the school has no plan to join the nationwide ASUU strike, thereby urging students, stakeholders and the general public to disregard any statement stating that Uniosun would join the strike.

He said, “This is to inform the University students, Stakeholders and the general public that UNIOSUN has no plan to join the ASUU strike.

Our students have resumed the rain semester academic session and lectures will commence very soon. Please disregard any information saying that UNIOSUN will soon join the ASUU strike.”

Recall that the Acting Chairman of UNIOSUN-ASUU today said that the union plans to join the strike soon.
