Following the suspension of the nine-month industrial strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Senate of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) approved the resumption of academic activities for the Rain Semester from Monday, January 11, 2021.
At its 285th Emergency Meeting held virtually via Zoom Thursday last week, the Senate decided that lectures will hold online in line with the directive of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
For the University of Ilorin, The moodleapp, Microsoft Teams and others are employed for teaching and learning.
For the Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED and Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU). Two of our correspondences who spoke to us via a chat this morning said the Universities are currently adopting online lectures for her students. The lecturers have instructed the students to download Telegram and other application.
