Osun State University (UNIOSUN) postpones resumption date

The Management of Osun State University has announced the postponement of resumption date in a memo released by the University Registrar.

According to the University Registrar, Mr Gafar Shittu, the resumption date has been postponed to January 18, 2021 as directed by the National Universities Commission.

He said, “The 2020/2021 academic session as approved by Senate is 4th January, 2021 and it remains unchanged. However, all returning students must remain in their locations and commence online registration.

Online lectures will also proceed accordingly, until the 18th January, 2021 date directed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) lapses.”

The University Public Relations Officer, Mr Ademola Adesoji confirmed the development while speaking with Olofofo Uniosun, adding that it’s in compliance with the directive from NUC.
