OAU Loses Overall Best Graduating Student To Car Accident

ObafemiAwolowo University, OAU, Ife, Osun State has lost an outstanding genius, Folashade Salako, the overall best graduating student from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the academic institution in 2019.

She also emerged winner of a young pharmacy competition in 2019 after defeating 360 other candidates in Lagos.

She died yesterday morning, 21st of April during a surgery after sustaining a head injury from a car accident.

According to reports, Folashade, who won the maiden Shalina’s international Young Pharmacist Award as the best graduating student, died on Wednesday, April 21.

It was gathered that she died during an operation at University College Hospital (UCH), in Ibadan, Oyo State.
