LAUTECH fresh students begin lectures amid ASUU strike

Freshers admitted for the 2022/2023 academic session at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso have resumed fully for lectures.

This was as a result of the determination of the Oyo State Government in seeing both staff and students of the institution fully back on campus.

Sources within LAUTECH disclosed to one of our correspondents at LegitSchoolGist that fresh men in various departments have completed their registration process and started attending classes for lectures.

Government sources also maintained that efforts are still being made to ensure that everyone resumes to attend to the students in the classrooms.

The Oyo State Government observing the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had mandated LAUTECH to pull out of the strike action
