FG to announce new date for “safe” reopening of universities

Following the announcement by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in calling off the 9 months old strike.

On March 23 2020, The National Universities Commission (NUC) ordered for the closure of Universities as a result of spike in COVID-19 pandemic amid ASUU strike.

In a press conference today by the President of ASUU, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi announced the suspension of strike today being 23rd of December 2020.

Information reaching LEGITSCHOOLGIST from a reliable source has it that the National Universities Commission will release date for the resumption of academic activities for all Universities nationwide.
