ASUU Finally Suspends 9 Month Old Strike, Gives Resumption Directives

The Academic Staff Union of Universities have called off the 9 month old strike today, 23rd December, 2020 after a Briefing this morning following the previous negotiations and compromises with the FG through it’s Minister of Labor.

The ASUU President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi at the Negotiation meeting yesterday, said they sympathised with their students who are also their children, adding that “no amount of sacrifice would be too much to get the matter resolved as long as the government is consistent with its commitments”.
