The Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D, has implemented the thirty thousand naira (30,000) bursary payment promised to ABSU students who are indigenes of Abia State.

Please recall, the thirty thousand naira (30,000) bursary payment promised our students who are indigenes of Abia State by His Excellency, Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D
We are pleased to inform you that we have received this payment on your behalf and wish to advise as follows:
1. Those students who have paid their fees in full for the 2019/2020 academic session will have the N30,000 credited to their account in the next academic year less any indebtedness in the previous sessions.
2. Those students who are yet to pay their school fees for the 2nd semester of 2019/2020 and are not owing any previous fees will have the N30,000 credited to their account and adjusted for in their payment of 2019/2020 second semester fees.
3. Those students in their final year and who have paid their fees in full for 2019/2020 academic session and are not owing the university any fees will have the N30,000 refunded to them in full or credited to them after determining their final indebtedness to the university.
