We bring you solidarity greetings from the Students’ Union Government of the prestigious UofA.
Firstly, we will love to appreciate the entire students of the University of Abuja who stood with the union in this trying times. It is our belief that the union cannot achieve anything without the support of its member which are the student. Your level of radicalness, doggedness and unity have liberated the union and have done us a great proud as a Union.

Yesterday Friday 5th of February, the University of Abuja received the leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) led by the Revolutionary President Comr. Sunday Asefon.
The NANS President accompanied by the NANS JCC FCT Chairman, leadership of NAUS FCT and other comrades with the SUG University of Abuja marched to the Senate Building for a very important meeting with the University Management headed by the Vice Chancellor.
After much deliberation between the revolutionary president of NANS, JCC Chairman and the university management concerning the welfare and progress of the University and her students, the Vice Chancellor has decided to shift grounds in order to meet the demands of the students of UofA.
PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES
The Vice Chancellor made the delegate to understand that the portal might crash if it opens for all, but everyone who hasn’t paid his/her schools fees should apply through the Academic Office using the email.
All application concerning the school fees payment must be made to [email protected] only sending in your complaints and details and it will be rectified.
Details to send only include;
- Full Name
- Matriculation Number
- Department
- Level
Please be concise and straight to the point via mail.
In order to make students pay, the management has decided to extend the application and payment of school fees till the first week of exams. Note that the Examination date has also be shifted by one week from February 15th. In other words, the application and payment of school fees will be available till the first week of Examination.
LATE REGISTRATION/COURSE REGISTRATION
The management has waived the #5000 payment on late registration, and those who have paid before the waiver, will have their money refunded. Please take note!
Also, it was reported to us that some still find it difficult and impossible to register their courses without having to pay #5000.
However, Students in this condition ONLY should submit to the SUG PRO {OLARHYMES} their Matriculation Number, level, course and evidence of school fees payment. All submission will be batch-loaded and they’ll be able to register courses.
Please submission should be made physical and during the school hour
EXTENSION OF FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION
It is a no secret that this has been the yearnings of the students of UofA, stating how the ASUU and Covid 19 long break has derailed academic activities.
It is not in our interest to disrupt academic calendar, in as much as we love to graduate on time, it is also our key interest to graduate well and that’s the students mandate upon which we act.
On this note, the Vice Chancellor as agreed to extend the First semester Examination date by one week only.
We urge all our students to keep preparing for the forthcoming examination and always be law-abiding.
STAMPING OF SCHOOL FEES RECEIPTS
It came to our notice that the Students Account Unit is collecting a particular amount before you stamp
your receipt the union have gotten this report and working tirelessly to know the reason behind this act of extortion.
Above all, we appreciate the leadership of NANS and other concerned stakeholders in the students community.
And to our great students, let us continue to be a good ambassador of the UofA, and observe all Covid-19 safety protocols as we go about with our academic activities.
