2020 ANGUS SAWISE Scholarship For Female Students From Sub-Sahara Africa
The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SAWISE) is offering the Angus Scholarship to African female students. Please note that these are ONLY for females and ONLY for 4th year [e.g. BSc (Honours) or equivalent] of study at tertiary level.
Successful applicant are to become active members of the association.
SAWISEAngus Scholarship Value: R15 000 per Annum
Scholarship Requirements
In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must:
A sub-Saharan black female.
- Must have achieved 70% or above grade average in her subject of study.
- Only for studies at Honours level (or 4th year equivalent e.g. in engineering).
- In any field of science and engineering.
Required Documents
Applications for these scholarships must include copies of the following:
a. Curriculum vitae.
b. An official academic transcript (record).
c. A letter of motivation (~350 words).
d. A certified copy of your ID.

- An official academic transcript for all years completed(record)
- Letter of motivation (~350 words)
- Certified copy of your ID
- Please be aware that prior to the allocation of any funds, any successful candidate will be required to submit hard copies of these documents as well as a letter of acceptance from the university at which they will be studying.
