The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released the 2022 updated list of Nigerian universities that have been approved to operate Distant Learning Centers in the country.
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), with 72 study/resource centers nationwide, is the only approved open university in the Nigerian University System (NUS), while 12 universities were also accredited to operate DLC.
Five more universities have now been added to the list making it a total of 17 approved distant learning centres. They are as follows;
