Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku grants Automatic Jobs to all First Class graduands of the university, urges the entire graduand to be positive Ambassadors during Convocation Ceremony.
The Governor also urged graduands to be positive Ambassadors as Taraba state University holds its 6,7,8 and 9th Convocation Ceremony graduates 8440 Graduands, offers automatic Jobs to first-class graduates.
Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba state on Saturday the 29th of January has urged the graduating students of the Taraba State University to be of positive influence as they transit into another phase of their lives, he made this statement during the 6,7,8 and 9th Convocation Ceremony.
The Governor expressed gladness at the pace at which the University is moving towards education. He said today, the university can boast of being among the top universities in the Nation and must applaud the contributions of everyone who paid the price in bringing that to reality.
He further gave automatic employment to over 48 First Class graduates of the university saying that was the best way he could appreciate their efforts for all the years they have put in, in making the university, state and their parents proud.
While congratulating them, he further added that they are now equipped to face the outside world and should work towards making it a better place.
Various honorary doctorate degrees were also awarded to several distinguished personalities who have distinguished themselves in both character and learning amongst who are His Excellency Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State, Rtd. General Tarfa etc.
The University proudly graduated of the 6,7,8 and 9th graduands 8440 with 49 first-class, 2416 second class upper, 3983-second class lower division, 790 third class, 20 passes, 106 postgraduates, 311 masters degrees and 1 PhD holder.
