NON-COMPLIANCE WITH JAMB DIRECTIVE ON NORMALIZATION OF STUDENTSHIP BY CANDIDATES ADMITTED DURING THE 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 AND 2019/2020 ADMISSON EXERCISES
This is to notify the university community and especially candidates who were offered admissions during the 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 admission exercises that many of them offered admissions during the periods stated above are yet to process their admissions with JAMB.
The implication of this is that such candidates are not bonafide students of the university and have forfeited the admissions offered them.
In order to remedy the situation, concerned candidates are advised in their own interest to as a matter of urgency visit their JAMB CAPS, download their admission letters and profile their documents with the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Admissions and Undergraduate Records Unit so that their studentship in the university can be authenticated.
In view of the above, all faculties and departments are enjoined to please adhere strictly to the rule that any candidate who does not have evidence of submission of file should not be treated as a student until his/her documents have been screened, profiled and forwarded to the faculties and the departments by the Directorate of Academic Affairs.
All faculties and departments are to please note the information and treat it with all seriousness it deserves.
Candidates concerned are to note that university will not be liable for any infraction committed by them on non-compliance with the university and JAMB regulations and policies on admission.
Consequently, any student who fails to take necessary steps to normalise his/her admission on or before December 4, 2020 will have his/her university portal blocked and will no longer be recognised as a student of the university.
Concerned students are once again enjoined to take prompt action on this matter and treat as urgent and important.
