UI Releases Revised Academic Calendar for 2020/2021 Session

The University of Ibadan had released a revised calendar for the 2020/2021 academic session. The academic calendar is coming at a time when many students seek to know the timings of exams and ultimately the end of the academic session.

The revised academic calendar is expected to outline important event and periods remain in the session such as exam dates, end of first semester and beginning of the second semester.

According to the revised calendar, first semester exams begin with GES courses on 21/6/2021 and is expected to end on 23/07/2021 with the second semester commencing just 3 days later on 26/07/2021.

The decision to cancel out the customary end of semester break is presumed to be sponsored by the lengthy period already spent in the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic session. Ultimately the end of the 2020/2021 session is 30/12/2021 and students are expected to resume the 2021/2022 session on 3/1/2022.
