After students have been given Admission into the undergraduate program of Olabisi Onabanjo University, there is need to do some necessary verification to complete the admission process.
The Olabisi Onabanjo University have annouced the date for the Verification process for Students that were given admission and have successfully paid their acceptance fee.
The date for the verification are as follows;
Monday – 8th of March, 2021

(ii) College of Engineering and Environmental studies
Tuesday – 9th of March, 2021
(i) Faculty of Art
(i) Faculty of Education
Wednesday – 10th of March, 2021
(i) Administration and Management Science
(ii) Faculty of Law
Thursday – 11th of March, 2021
(i) Faculty of Science
(ii) College of Medicine
(iii) Faculty of Pharmacy
Friday – 12th of March, 2021
(i) College of Agricultural Sciences
(ii) Faculty of Social Sciences
WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU NEED FOR VERIFICATION?
The answers to above Question sound simple but it’s Reasonable.
Firstly, why do you need to do verification? For all Newly ADMITTED students of OOU, Verification of Documents are highly imposed inorder to check whether Those documents are yours(No Verification,No payment of Sch fees)
What are the documents needed for verification?
Here are the list of Documents needed for Verification Process(All the signature and stamps in the pics samples below will be done by the Faculty Officer not by YOU)
1.Verifcation Form(Don’t Write anything on this form, Print the form out and Faculty officer will do the rest)
2. BIRTH CERTIFICATE
3. Acceptance fee Receipt
4. Original jamb result
5. Olevel Result
6. Post utme Result
7.BIODATA FORM
8.Tax clearance certificate Or Tax clearance Receipt (Ogun STATE only)
COMMON ISSUES THAT MIGHT HAPPEN DURING VERIFICATION AND THEIR SOLUTIONs
1. Issues Concerning Birth Certificates
First issue to be ADDRESSED is the issue of birth certificate.This issue of birth certificate error mostly occur with third names..
For example.. My birth certificate when I was born is PATANE JOSHUA……Later on, when I registered for all my exams I used PATANE JOSHUA VICTORY…THE CHANGE IN THIRD NAME WILL MAKE IT INVALID. To do the verification, you would need to have another birth certificate suing your RECENT NAME ORDER or having an affidavit as Back up
2. ISSUE OF OLEVEL SUBJECT MATCH/ ERROR
This occurs oftenly to freshers during verification. It Might lead to change of desired course.
CASE STUDY: ASSUMING I WAS GIVEN GEOGRAPHY TO STUDY….BUT IN MY OLEVEL I DIDNT DO GEOGRAPHY.
Regardless of me being admitted…during the verification when the subjects didn’t match with my given course … THAT COURSE will be automatically changed.
3. DO’S And DONT’S OF VERIFICATION HALLS

- YOU MUST BE AWARE OF WHERE UR FACULTY OFFICER IS
- YOU MUST KNOW YOUR FACULTY OFFICER
- THE OFFICERS HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH GREETINGS …PLS TRY TO GREET THEM WELL…..I KNOW WHAT AM SAYING..
DONT’S:
- DON’T DRESS INDECENTLY TO THE HALL. THEY MIGHT NOT ATTEND TO YOU
- DON’T SPEAK WITH THEM ON TOP OF YOUR VOICE…THEY GET ANGRY EASILY
- DON’T B LATE TO THE HALL. YOU MAY BE DELAYED.
